Apple Rosemary Whisky Sour

A great way to welcome in the fall. Serves 8.


Rosemary Simple Syrup

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 6 sprigs rosemary


  • 1 liter unfiltered, unsweetened apple juice
  • 2/3 cup Barnburner whiskey
  • 4 cups ice
  • lemon slices for garnish


Rosemary Simple Syrup

  1. Add honey and water to a sauce-pot over a low heat, stirring until the honey dissolves.
  2. Remove from heat, add rosemary sprigs and set aside to cool completely . 

Make the Cocktail

  1. In a large pitcher, combine the rosemary simple syrup, apple juice, and whiskey.  Stir to combine. 
  2. Fill the glasses with ice and pour over the cocktail.  Serve with a lemon slice.
