About Maverick Distillery

Maverick Distillery is a family-owned craft distillery in Oakville, Ontario, built on a simple belief: great spirits should be made with care, quality ingredients and plenty of character.

Since 2009, we’ve been proudly crafting and sharing spirits from our home in Oakville, combining traditional craftsmanship with a willingness to do things a little differently. Today, the Maverick family spans vodka, gin, whisky, rum, tequila, ready-to-drink cocktails and coolers, including brands like TAG No. 5, Ginslinger, BARNBURNER, CARGO Rum and LUNÁTICO Tequila.

We’re proud to be a Canadian company through and through. Being Canadian means doing things our own way, supporting our local Ontario community and staying true to the ingredients and traditions that make our spirits distinct. Our mission has always been simple: give Ontario spirits lovers great-tasting, quality spirits at a price that doesn’t break the bank. We don’t think you should have to choose between quality and value, so we work hard to keep our spirits accessible without ever cutting corners on craftsmanship.
